The Woodhead Watertite® CS83W65 is a robust 50 Amp, 250 Volt, 3-pole/4-wire plug designed for demanding industrial applications. Featuring a California Style Locking Blade, this Non-NEMA configuration ensures secure, vibration-resistant connections. The NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber housing provides exceptional resistance to water, dust, and high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi, meeting IEC IP55-IP67 ratings. Its NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12 environmental ratings further underscore its suitability for wet and corrosive environments. The F5 cord grip body accommodates 1¼" diameter cords, offering reliable strain relief. Internal components include nickel-plated brass contacts for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. Wiring is simplified with tri-drive ¼" terminal screws (compatible with straight, Phillips, and square-drive drivers) and a transparent wiring guide. The floating blade construction promotes self-alignment, enhancing mechanical and electrical connections while minimizing wear and heat generation.
