The Woodhead Watertite® Connector (SKU: CS63W64) is engineered for reliable power connectivity in demanding industrial environments. Its California Style Locking Blade ensures a secure and dependable electrical connection, minimizing the risk of accidental disconnections. The F5 Cord Grip Body Size accommodates cords up to 1¼" in diameter, providing a tight seal and strain relief to protect against cord damage. Constructed with NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber for the outer housing and grommet, this connector offers exceptional resistance to water, vapor, and high-pressure washdowns (up to 1000psi), making it suitable for wet locations and harsh conditions. The internal components, including nickel-plated brass blades and contacts, and brass wire saddle clamps, are designed for longevity and optimal electrical conductivity. Assembly is simplified with captive, tri-drive stainless steel speed screws, compatible with straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide allows for visual verification of wire strand placement before securing. The floating blade construction promotes self-alignment, enhancing both mechanical and electrical connections while reducing wear and heat generation. Operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, this connector meets stringent environmental standards, including IEC ratings of IP55, 56, 57, 65, 66, and 67, and NEMA ratings 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12.
