Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Receptacle Flip Coverplate with Locking Blade (SKU 66W64) is a 3-pole, 4-wire industrial-grade coverplate designed for wet and harsh environments. Rated for 600V AC and 250V DC, this Non-NEMA coverplate ensures reliable operation in factories, workshops, and outdoor installations where NEMA standards are not required. The locking blade mechanism provides secure connections, reducing the risk of accidental disconnections and ensuring stable power delivery. The flip coverplate design allows for quick access and maintenance, enhancing operational efficiency. The coverplate features a floating blade construction for self-alignment, minimizing wear and heat generation during operation. It includes color-coded ¼" terminal screws preset in the open position for easy wiring, compatible with straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. The tri-drive head, stainless steel speed screw ensures long life and easy assembly. The Watertite® series is built to resist high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi, protecting against moisture, dust, and mechanical damage. The outer housing and grommet are made of NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber, while the face insert is nylon, and the receptacle coverplate is Lexan®. The device meets NSF/ANSI/3-A 14159-1 standards and operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C.
