The Woodhead MAX-LOC®/Watertite® Cord Grip (SKU 5640M) is a 3/4" NPT straight male cord grip designed for secure cable management in industrial environments. This F3-form cord grip accommodates cable diameters from 15.88mm to 19.05mm (0.625" to 0.750"), making it ideal for enclosures, cabinets, push-button stations, and general-purpose applications. The nylon body provides impact and corrosion resistance, while the rubber grommet delivers a liquid-tight seal against moisture, dust, and contaminants. The grommet is color-coded (F3 size) for easy identification and is formulated to resist chemicals and extreme temperatures. Without an O-ring and locknut, the grip achieves a Type 3R rating for outdoor use with rain protection. When paired with these accessories (sold separately), it meets Type 6P standards for submersion resistance. The compression nut is zinc-plated steel, and the washer is nylon, ensuring durable performance. UL File No. E76954 and CSA File No. LR32159 certify its compliance for hazardous locations, including Class I, Division 2; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2.
