The Woodhead MAX-LOC® Strain Relief Cord-Sealing Grip, SKU 5622M, is engineered for robust cable management in demanding industrial environments. This straight male grip features a 3/4" NPT threaded connection, ensuring secure mounting into enclosures. It is designed to accommodate cable diameters ranging from 6.35mm to 9.53mm (0.250" to 0.375"). The construction combines a durable nylon body, resistant to impact and corrosion, with a high-strength stainless steel mesh for superior pull-out resistance and corrosion resistance. A gray rubber grommet provides a liquid-tight seal, meeting NEMA 6P ratings when used with the correct NPT-sized O-ring, and helps reduce cord pull-out. The nylon compression nut ensures a secure grip on the cable. This MAX-LOC® series grip is suitable for use in boxes, cabinets, pushbutton stations, and general enclosures. Its UL File No. E76954 and CSA File No. LR32159 certifications attest to its reliability. The stainless steel mesh offers high strength and corrosion resistance, while the nylon body provides impact and corrosion resistance. The rubber grommet is chemically resistant and handles a wide temperature range. The weave type is a half double weave, half single weave mesh. This cord-sealing grip is ideal for applications requiring protection against moisture, dust, and contaminants, ensuring long-term performance and preventing cable damage in manufacturing, automation, and other industrial settings. The O-ring is made of Neoprene and the nut is zinc-plated steel.
