Overview

The Woodhead MAX-LOC® Strain Relief Cord-Sealing Grip, SKU 5538MSS, is engineered for secure cable management in industrial settings. This straight male grip features a 3/4" NPT connection and is designed to accommodate cable diameters ranging from 12.70mm to 15.88mm (0.500" to 0.625"). Constructed with a durable nylon body and compression nut, it offers resistance to impact and corrosion. The integrated rubber grommet ensures a liquid-tight seal, rated NEMA 6P when used with the correct NPT-sized O-ring, and helps reduce cord pull-out. This model incorporates a stainless steel mesh, providing high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and slight conductivity, making it suitable for demanding environments. The weave type is a half double weave, half single weave mesh. The MAX-LOC® series is UL recognized (File No.: E76954) and CSA certified (File No.: LR32159). Applications include use in boxes, cabinets, and general use enclosures where reliable strain relief and sealing are critical. The gray cord grip body and compression nut, along with a white washer, are made of nylon. The grommet is rubber, and the O-ring is Neoprene. The nut is zinc-plated steel. This product is manufactured in the USA.
