The Woodhead MAX-LOC® Strain Relief Cord-Sealing Grip, SKU 5532, is a straight male strain relief designed for secure cable management in industrial enclosures. This grip features a 1/2" NPT connection and accommodates cables with a diameter range of 12.70mm to 14.27mm (0.500" to 0.562"). The grip body and compression nut are constructed from gray nylon, providing impact and corrosion resistance for demanding environments. A white nylon washer and zinc-plated steel nut ensure reliable assembly and long-term durability. The integrated rubber grommet delivers a liquid-tight seal, rated NEMA 6P when paired with the correct NPT-sized neoprene O-ring, effectively preventing dust and moisture ingress. The grommet material is chemically resistant and operates across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for harsh industrial conditions. The grommet is color-coded black for this cable diameter range, enabling quick identification and reducing installation errors.
