The Woodhead MAX-LOC® 5520W strain relief cord-sealing grip (SKU: 5520W) offers robust cable protection and environmental sealing for industrial applications. When used with the integrated neoprene O-ring and a locknut (sold separately), this grip achieves a NEMA 6P rating, ideal for submerged or high-pressure environments. The MAX-LOC® 5520W is designed for flexible cords with diameters ranging from 3.18mm to 4.75mm (0.125" to 0.187"). Its rubber grommet is formulated to resist chemicals and operate across a wide temperature range (-40°C to +105°C). Installation is straightforward with the compression nut design, requiring no special tools for a vibration-resistant seal. This strain relief grip is compatible with PVC, rubber, and TPE-jacketed cables. Applications include automation, energy, food processing, transportation, and HVAC systems. Manufactured by Molex (Woodhead), it meets UL File No. E76954 and CSA File No. LR32159. The 1/2" NPT straight male thread ensures secure mounting. Replacement grommets are available to extend product life.
