The Woodhead 36473 is a deluxe 90° angle male cord grip designed for superior strain relief and cable management in industrial applications. Featuring a 1-1/2" NPT threaded body, this grip accommodates flexible cords with a diameter range of 28.70mm to 34.80mm (1.130" to 1.370"). Manufactured by Woodhead, it offers robust construction with an aluminum threaded body, zinc-plated steel compression nut, and a mesh collar made of zinc-plated steel and aluminum. The galvanized steel mesh provides exceptional strength and durability, while the thermoplastic insulating bushing protects conductors from abrasion and damage during flexing and wire entry/exit. This cord grip is rated for dust-tight environments and is suitable for wet locations when the gasket is properly placed between the fitting and the box, meeting NEMA 4 enclosure requirements. It also holds hazardous location ratings for Class I, Division 2; Class II, Division 1 and 2; and Class III, Division 1 and 2.
