Overview

The Woodhead 36405 is a 90° angle male liquid-tight strain relief designed for secure cable entry into enclosures and equipment in demanding industrial environments. This strain relief features a 2" NPT threaded body made of malleable iron or zinc-plated steel, paired with a zinc-plated steel nut and stainless steel mesh collar for corrosion resistance. The stainless steel mesh provides a strong grip on liquid-tight flexible metal conduit, preventing pull-out and strain on cable connections. The insulated throat protects internal conductors from damage due to flexing, temperature fluctuations, and abrasion during wire entry and exit, extending cable life. The 0.19m (7.50") mesh length offers flexibility for routing and installation while maintaining a secure grip.
