Overview

The Woodhead Safeway® Connector, SKU 29T81, is engineered for robust 3-phase 208V applications requiring secure connections. This 30A, 4-pole/5-wire connector features a NEMA L21-30 configuration and a locking blade design, ensuring tamper resistance and stability in high-vibration environments. Its NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber housing provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and extreme temperatures, operating reliably from -40°C to 75°C. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment for optimal mechanical and electrical contact, minimizing wear and heat generation. Wiring is simplified with color-coded, pre-set ¼" tri-drive terminal screws compatible with straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide allows for visual verification of wire placement before securing. The two-piece cord-clamp strain relief, also featuring tri-drive screws, firmly secures the cord. Constructed with nickel-plated brass blades and contacts, a nylon face insert, and a brass wire saddle clamp, this connector is built for longevity. Its Super-Safeway™ design offers superior resistance to corrosion, UV, and mechanical stress. UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837 certified. Ideal for CNC machines, generators, data centers, oil & gas, and manufacturing facilities.
