Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Connector, SKU 27W09, is engineered for robust industrial environments. This 4-pole, 4-wire, non-NEMA locking blade connector operates at 208V and features a durable NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber housing and grommet, providing superior sealing against moisture, dust, and high-pressure washdowns, achieving IP55-67 ratings. Its nickel-plated brass contacts ensure reliable electrical conductivity. For ease of assembly and longevity, it incorporates stainless steel face screws and a tri-drive speed screw. The three-piece strain relief design securely manages the cord without causing damage. A locking blade mechanism enhances connection security, preventing accidental disconnections. This connector is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, with a maximum 30°C temperature rise at full rated current after 50 cycles of overload at 150% of rated current. The F4 cord grip body accommodates 1" cord diameters. It is UL recognized (E10176) and CSA certified (LR6837), making it suitable for demanding applications where reliable and secure connections are paramount. The internal wiring guide ensures proper wire placement before securing.
