Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Locking Plug (SKU: 28W82) offers robust power connectivity for demanding industrial applications. This 4-pole, 5-wire plug is rated for 3-phase, 480V systems and features a NEMA L22-30 configuration for secure locking, preventing accidental disconnections. Its Watertite® design ensures exceptional resistance to water ingress and harsh conditions, meeting NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12 and IEC IP55-67 ratings, making it suitable for wet locations and high-pressure washdown up to 1000psi. The F4 cord grip body provides strain relief for cables up to 1" in diameter. Constructed with NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber housing, nickel-plated brass contacts, and stainless steel screws, it withstands temperatures from -40°C to 75°C. Features include color-coded, tri-drive terminal screws for easy wiring and floating blade construction for optimal electrical connection. Polaris designs connectors for use in a wide range of splicing applications, including installation in cable trays, panel boards, ducts, raceways or troughs.
