Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Connector with Locking Blade (SKU: 27W81) is a NEMA L21-20 rated, 3-phase 208V, 4-pole/5-wire industrial connector designed for wet locations and general-purpose applications. This IP67-rated connector features a ¾" F3 cord grip body size with a three-piece strain relief system that seals the power cord without damaging the insulation, providing reliable ingress protection against moisture, dust, and corrosive elements. The nickel-plated brass plug blades and connector contacts, combined with a NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber grommet, deliver superior environmental resistance, including resistance to high-pressure washdown up to 1000 psi. The Watertite® series is UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837 certified, with an operating temperature range of −40 °C to 75 °C (no impact). The connector includes color-coded ¼" terminal screws preset in the open position, ready to wire, with tri-drive head stainless steel speed screws for easy assembly and long life. The floating blade construction provides self-alignment, minimizing wear and heat generation, while a transparent wiring guide verifies all wire strands are in place before securing the wire.
