Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Connector (SKU: 27W49) is a robust, industrial-grade power connector designed for demanding wet and dusty environments. This 2-pole/3-wire connector is rated for 277V and features a NEMA L7-20 configuration. Its NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber construction provides exceptional resistance to water, chemicals, and abrasives, meeting NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12 ratings, as well as IEC IP55-67 ratings. The F3 cord grip body size ensures a secure, watertight seal, accommodating a ¾" cord diameter. Nickel-plated brass blades and contacts offer reliable conductivity, while stainless steel face screws and a Lexan* coverplate enhance durability. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment for optimal mechanical and electrical connection, minimizing wear and heat generation. Tri-drive terminal screws facilitate easy wiring with multiple screwdriver types. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable power in harsh industrial settings, including construction, manufacturing, and food processing.
