The Woodhead Watertite® Male Receptacle Connector (SKU: 27W47MB) is a 2-pole/3-wire, NEMA L5-20 rated connector designed for wet-location applications. Rated for 125V and 20A maximum per contact, this connector features a floating blade construction for self-alignment and improved mechanical/electrical connections, reducing wear and heat. The F3 body size (3/4") accommodates secure cord sealing with a three-piece strain relief system, preventing damage to the cable. The outer housing and grommet are constructed from NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber, providing resistance to water, vapor, and high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi. Nickel-plated brass contacts ensure reliable electrical performance, while stainless steel face screws and a Lexan® coverplate enhance durability. Color-coded 1/4" terminal screws are preset in the open position for easy wiring and can be driven with straight blade, Phillips, or square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide verifies proper wire strand placement before securing. Ideal for food and beverage processing, general manufacturing, and oil and gas operations where dependable power in wet environments is critical.
