Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Locking Blade Connector, SKU 27W10, is engineered for robust electrical connections in demanding industrial settings. This 4-pole, 5-wire connector features a 600V rating, making it suitable for heavy-duty power systems. Its non-NEMA configuration offers broad application compatibility, while the integrated grounding tab enhances electrical safety. The locking blade mechanism prevents accidental disconnections, crucial for maintaining operational continuity in high-vibration environments. Constructed with NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber for the outer housing and grommet, and nickel-plated brass for blades and contacts, it ensures durability. The F4 body size, with a 1" cord grip, accommodates standard cord grips for secure cable termination. Face screws are stainless steel for longevity, and the face insert is nylon. Wire saddle clamps are brass. This connector is designed to withstand harsh conditions, including moisture and dust, with an IEC rating of IP55-67 and NEMA ratings of 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 75°C continuous. The connector meets stringent quality standards with UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837.
