Overview

The Woodhead Super-Safeway® Connector, SKU 2774, is a robust 3-pole, 4-wire locking blade connector rated for 250V and NEMA L14-20 configuration. Its Super-Safeway outer housing is constructed from NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber, offering superior resistance to abrasion, chemical exposure, and extreme temperatures. This material ensures optimal performance in demanding industrial settings. The connector features nickel-plated brass plug blades and contacts for reliable conductivity. Installation is simplified with color-coded, tri-drive terminal screws that are pre-set in an open position, compatible with straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide aids in verifying wire strand placement before securing. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment, promoting better mechanical and electrical connections while minimizing wear and heat generation. Assembly is facilitated by captive, tri-drive head, stainless steel speed screws. A two-piece cord-clamp strain relief with tri-drive screws provides a secure grip on the cord. This connector is designed for a cord range of .425 to 1.150 inches and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to a maximum continuous 75°C. It meets UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837 certifications.
