The Woodhead Super-Safeway® Locking Plug (SKU: 2449) is a 2-pole, 3-wire NEMA L6-15 rated plug designed for secure, vibration-resistant power connections in industrial environments. This plug features a locking blade mechanism that prevents accidental disengagement, ensuring continuous operation in demanding applications such as manufacturing, construction, and mining. The NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber housing delivers superior resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and extreme temperatures (-40°C to 75°C), while nickel-plated brass blades provide enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance. The plug includes color-coded ¼" terminal screws pre-set in the open position for quick wiring, with tri-drive compatibility for straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide ensures proper wire strand placement before securing, and a two-piece cord-clamp strain relief with tri-drive screws secures the cable firmly. Floating blade construction minimizes wear and heat generation, while the rugged design meets NEMA L6-15 standards for 15A at 250V. Ideal for balanced power distribution with live, neutral, and ground conductors.
