The SDU DC UPS operates with an input voltage range of 22.5 to 30.0 Vdc.

The power module has a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.

Up to four SDU 24-BAT DIN Rail/Panel mount battery modules can be connected. Only one SDU 24-BATEM external battery module can be used.

The two models are SDU 10-24 (24 Vdc/10 Amp) and SDU 20-24 (24 Vdc/20 Amp). Battery modules are required for operation.

The SDU DC UPS uses sealed, maintenance-free lead acid batteries. These batteries are user-replaceable.

A single battery module recharges in 8 hours. Two modules take 24 hours, and each additional module adds 12 hours.

Input and output connections use IP20-rated screw terminals, accepting 16-12 AWG (0.5-4 mm2) copper conductors. The torque is 4.3 lb-in. (0.49 Nm).

SDU 24-BAT is for ventilated enclosures (IP20) and DIN Rail/Panel mount. SDU 24-BATEM is for external installation in non-ventilated enclosures (NEMA 1) and Wall/Chassis mount.

For installation, 20 mm free space is required above, 35 mm below, 20 mm left/right, and 10 mm in front of the unit.

SolaHD SDN Series power supplies are recommended for use with the SDU DC UPS system.
