The Schlegel Elektrokontakt MTOSF (SKU: MTOSF) is a modular contact block designed for precise control in industrial automation. This momentary contact block features a 6 mm travel distance, ensuring accurate actuation for position sensing and limit switching applications. It utilizes a secure screw connection method, compatible with wire cross-sections from 0.5 mm² up to 2.5 mm², providing a robust electrical interface. The contact configuration includes one normally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO) contact, offering versatile switching logic. The contacts are constructed from AgNi (Silver Nickel), a material known for its excellent conductivity and resistance to welding, ensuring reliable performance over its rated lifetime of 1 million switching cycles under load. With a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 600V and a thermal continuous current (Ith) of 16A, it supports demanding electrical loads. For AC15 applications, it can handle up to 240V/3A or 480V/1.5A, and for DC13 applications, it supports 250V/0.2A or 24V/2A. The MTOSF carries an IP20 degree of ingress protection, making it suitable for indoor environments where protection against solid objects greater than 12.5 mm is required.
