This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation and initial setup of the S7522BF Server Cabinet, ensuring proper leveling, mounting, and grounding.

Phillips screwdriver, Flatblade screwdriver, 22mm socket wrench, 15mm socket wrench, 13mm socket wrench, 8mm socket wrench, 48” level, 7mm socket wrench, T30 Torx bit, T25 Torx bit, 6mm Allen key, 2.5mm Allen key, Wire cutter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Shipping hold down brackets, Grounding lugs, Foam seals, Latch plugs
- Remove packaging materials
Carefully remove all stretch wrap and protective cardboard from the cabinet. Remove the shipping brackets and hold down brackets if necessary.
- Level the cabinet
Ensure the leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position and lower the leveling legs until the cabinet is fully supported. Adjust the legs to ensure the cabinet is level both front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure the cabinet to the floor
If floor mounting is desired, secure the shipping hold down brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet using M10 hex head screws and a 15mm socket wrench.
- Ground the cabinet
Attach a grounding lug or grounding bar to the Common Bonding Network (CBN) at one of the designated locations. Use M5 bonding screws to fasten the grounding terminal to the cabinet frame.
- Install cable management
Insert the cable management fingers into the mounting slots of the cabinet post and slide them inward to lock them in place.
- Seal the cabinet
Install latch plugs into the door latch cut-outs on the front side of the cabinet and apply foam seals to the upper and lower frame.
