This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Panduit G5 PDU in a data center rack.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cage nuts, Ground bonding cable
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the sides of the PDU. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack to secure it.
- Connect the Ground Bonding Cable
Attach the ground bonding cable to the external ground bonding point located on the chassis of the PDU. Ensure that the connection is secure to prevent electric shock.
- Connect the PDU to Power Source
Turn off the feed circuit breaker. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit and ensure all circuit breakers on the PDU are set to On. Finally, turn the feed circuit breaker On.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface to configure the input cord type. Navigate to the System Management page, select Set Input Cord, choose the correct cord type, and save the settings.
