Supplies needed:
New blade, Removeable Threadlocker, Torx screws
- Remove the existing blade
Hold the tool with the nose pointing upward. Remove the two existing screws and loosen screw (A). Lift out the cutter cap (B) at the bottom and retain it. Remove the existing blade (1) and discard it.
- Install the new blade
While holding the tool with the nose pointing upward, place the new blade (1) into position. Ensure the sharp edge of the blade (1) is facing toward the cutter cap (B).
- Secure the cutter cap
Insert the top end of the cutter cap (B) into the blade housing and lower it into place. Apply Removeable Threadlocker to the two new Torx screws (2) and fasten the cutter cap (B) using the Torx T-9 wrench. Tighten screw (A) while pushing upward on the cutter cap (B).
