Grease (Versalube G326 or equivalent), E-ring
- Prepare the tool
Move the Back Handle away from the tool and turn the Tension all the way down to release any pressure.
- Disassemble the tool
Flip the tool over and remove the E-ring from the Mandrel, then set it aside. Next, remove the Mandrel and the Ratchet, placing them aside as well.
- Replace the handle spring
Push both Bearings inside, then remove the Front Handle. Apply grease to the new Handle Spring and place it around the smaller Bearing. Slide the Handle back into the Tool Body with the Handle Spring.
- Reassemble the tool
Push the Bearings out to flush with the Tool Bodies. Ensure the dot on the Ratchet is facing you, then slide the Ratchet back in. Finally, slide the Mandrel in and secure it with the E-ring.
