Enhanced surge protection is provided by a 510 Joule MOV component, safeguarding both the photocontrol and connected LED luminaires against unpredictable line voltage spikes. The unit utilizes an industrial-strength DC relay with positive snap-action technology for virtually bounce-free and secure contact switching. Its UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing and window, combined with conformal-coated electronics, offer maximum protection against extreme weather and moisture. Certified to meet UL and CSA photocontrol standards, as well as the ANSI C136.10-2010 American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment, the ZTL480 ensures safety and compliance. It features a delayed OFF response to prevent false switching from transient light sources like vehicles. Rated for use with LED lamp drivers, it contributes to energy savings. The ZTL480 operates on a voltage range of 347-480 VAC, with a current rating of 3A. It features a 1.5 fc ON/OFF light trigger level with a 1.5:1 OFF/ON ratio.
