The Polaris SITG-3/0 10-Pack of Replacement Sleeves for Polaris Grey Connectors helps reuse any connectors sized for 3/0 – 4 AWG wires. Tightening the set screw of a Polaris Grey connector crimps the internal ferrules to form a strong connection with fine-strand wires. These sleeves replace that crimped part, allowing the connector to be reused like new. Polaris Grey provides the simplest solution for forming a secure connection between fine-stranded wire conductors in applications including cable trays, troughs, wire-ways, raceways, ducts and motor junction boxes. Each connector is rated for 600V, comes pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor and installs faster than traditional uninsulated connector options using just a hex key and torque wrench. Their aluminum alloy bodies are wrapped in high-dielectric strength plastisol insulation, which is ergonomically molded to offer a comfortable grip, in addition to being resistant to abrasion, chemicals and UV rays. The all-in-one design saves time and supplies on each job by eliminating the need for cover and taping; simply brush the conductors clean, strip back their insulation, insert one conductor into each port and secure the covered pressure screws. Polaris pre-insulated connectors are available in a range of port numbers and configurations to fit the needs of any job, including UL-listed parallel configurations.
