Overview

NSI Industries MBG-050 Mighty-Bond® Intersystem Bonding Bridge and Coupling combines bonding and coupling functionality in a single 1/2-inch device. Designed for intersystem bonding of power and communication grounding systems, the MBG-050 accommodates main grounding conductors from #2 to #6 AWG and tap conductors from #4 to #14 AWG. The lay-in feature eliminates the need to cut or splice the main electrode, streamlining installation and reducing labor time. The compact design measures 1.4"H x 1.19"W x 3.93"L, making it ideal for tight spaces while maintaining robust performance. Dual-rated for copper or aluminum conductors, the MBG-050 includes stainless steel screws to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term reliability. cULus Listed to UL467 for grounding and bonding applications, this device meets NEC 2008 section 250.94 requirements for bonding other systems below the meter. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the MBG-050 supports fast, simple connections to ground conductors without disassembling existing ground-to-rod connections. Optional UV-resistant paintable covers are available for enhanced aesthetics in visible installations.
