Overview

The Mersen TRM1/4 is a time-delay midget fuse designed for supplemental protection in 250VAC circuits. Rated at 0.25 Amperes with a 10kA interrupting rating, this ferrule-style fuse offers a 12-second time-delay at 200% of its rated current. This characteristic is crucial for safely handling the high inrush currents associated with small motors, small transformers, and other inductive loads without causing nuisance tripping. Its compact 1-1/2" x 13/32" (10mm x 38mm) dimensions make it suitable for various applications where space is a consideration. The TRM series is UL listed to standard 248-14 (File E33925) and CSA certified to Standard C22.2 No. 248.14, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. It is specifically recommended for protecting lighting circuits and control circuits, providing reliable overcurrent protection. Note that this fuse is not intended for branch circuit protection. It can be used with Mersen's UltraSafe™ fuse holders for added safety and convenience. Trust Mersen's Tri-Onic® technology for dependable performance in your electrical systems.
