Overview

The Mersen T302076 Protistor® fuse-link (SKU T302076) offers specialized DC protection for semiconductor devices. Engineered for applications up to 600VDC (IEC) and 650VDC (UL), this square-body, high-speed fuse-link is rated for 100A and features a Size 70 gR designation. Its design adheres to gR Class standards per IEC 60269-4 and VDE 636-23, ensuring elimination of all overloads and providing excellent cycling capability. The Protistor® series is built with pure silver, die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which controls arcing for a low I²t value, crucial for protecting diodes, thyristors, GTOs, and IGBTs. This construction contributes to a high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver-plated, and non-magnetic hardware is utilized for enhanced reliability. The T302076 features flush ends with metric threads for secure mounting. An optional low-voltage trip-indicator can be integrated to operate a field-mountable microswitch for system monitoring. Key applications include inverters, motor drives, and UPS systems operating at 600V or less. Standards compliance includes IEC 60269-4 and UL/CSA recognition (E76491).
