Overview

The Mersen Protistor® T220955 is a square body high-speed fuse-link designed for critical DC power protection in semiconductor applications. Rated at 750VDC and 900A with a gR speed/characteristic, this fuse-link provides ultra-fast response to fault conditions, minimizing damage to protected components. Its very low I²t rating ensures rapid interruption of short circuits while maintaining excellent cycling capability for repeated operation. The striker mechanism enables visual or remote indication of fuse operation, enhancing system reliability. With a power dissipation of 170W at rated current, it balances performance with energy efficiency. Designed for elevated temperature operation, this fuse-link is ideal for protecting inverters, motor drives, UPS systems, and railway power and auxiliary circuits. The square body design with metric threads ensures secure mounting and compatibility with standard industrial fuse holders. Part of Mersen’s Protistor® series, it delivers dependable DC circuit protection where fast-acting, low I²t performance is critical.
