Overview

The Mersen Protistor® NH Size 1 aR fuse-link (SKU: N320379) offers superior semiconductor protection with a rated current of 315A. Designed for 690VAC (IEC) and 700VAC (UL) applications, this high-speed fuse-link provides maximum flexibility in equipment design and ultimate protection for power conversion equipment. It adheres to DIN 43620/00 standards, ensuring worldwide acceptance into NH modular system fuse-holders and fuse switch disconnectors for direct installation. Engineered to protect sensitive semiconductor devices like diodes, thyristors, GTO's, and IGBTs, the Protistor® features pure silver, die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand to control arcing characteristics, resulting in a lower I²t and a high interrupting rating of 170 kA. This specific model boasts a pre-arcing I²t of 15400 A²s and a clearing I²t of 90700 A²s at its rated voltage. Power dissipation at rated current is 60 W. All contact surfaces are silver-plated, and hardware is non-magnetic. The fuse-link is equipped with a double indicator and plain blades for easy identification and integration. Its compact NH Size 1 form factor and robust construction make it ideal for demanding industrial environments. Manufactured in the US, this fuse-link is a reliable choice for critical protection needs.
