Overview

The Mersen N300208 Protistor® fuse-link is a high-speed, ultra-fast acting aR fuse designed for semiconductor protection in power conversion equipment. Rated at 32A with 690VAC/700VAC compatibility, this square body fuse-link meets IEC 60269-4 and UL 248-14 standards for protecting diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices. The fuse features die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand for controlled arcing, reducing I²t and enabling high interrupting ratings. All contact surfaces are silver-plated for superior conductivity, while non-magnetic hardware ensures long-term reliability. The N300208 includes slotted blades for secure mounting and an optional low-voltage trip-indicator that actuates a microswitch for remote signaling. Available in multiple worldwide mounting styles, this Protistor® fuse-link provides flexible integration into industrial power systems.
