Overview

The Mersen HSJ110 High-Speed Class J Fuse combines the low I²t characteristics of a semiconductor fuse with the branch-circuit protection of a UL Listed Class J fuse, delivering dual functionality in a single design. Rated for 110A at 600VAC and 500VDC, this fuse is engineered for applications requiring both NEC-compliant branch circuit protection and precise semiconductor protection. With an interrupting rating of 200kA AC and 100kA DC (L/R ≤10ms), the HSJ110 ensures reliable performance under fault conditions. Its optimized overload capability withstands elevated current levels during electronic motor controller starts, while excellent cycling ability prevents nuisance openings during frequent starts/stops. The compact design and current-limiting performance make it ideal for protecting power semiconductors such as diodes, SCRs, GTOs, and SSRs in drives, soft-starters, phase controllers, and control panels. UL Listed to standard 248-8 (File E2137) and CSA certified to C22.2 No. 248.8, the HSJ110 meets rigorous safety and performance standards. Distributed by Gross Automation for fast delivery and expert support.
