Overview

The Mersen G320580 Protistor® NH Size 3 aR fuse-link is a high-speed semiconductor protection device designed for critical power conversion applications. This 350A fuse operates at 690VAC (IEC) and 700VAC (UL), providing precise overcurrent protection for sensitive semiconductor components including diodes, thyristors, GTOs, and IGBTs. The square body design with plain blades enables direct installation into NH modular system fuse-holders and fuse switch disconnectors, conforming to DIN 43620/00 standards for global compatibility. Engineered with pure silver die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, this fuse achieves superior arc management with a lower I²t value of 25,450 A²s (pre-arcing) and 118,000 A²s (clearing) at rated voltage. Power dissipation at rated current (In) is 60W, with a compact 0.24 kg weight for efficient system integration. Key features include a double indicator for visual status confirmation and silver-plated contact surfaces for enhanced conductivity. Non-magnetic hardware throughout the construction prevents interference in sensitive applications. Optional low voltage trip-indicator kits allow field-mountable microswitch operation for enhanced system monitoring.
  • 350A rated current with 690VAC (IEC) / 700VAC (UL) operation
  • Square body with plain blades for NH modular system compatibility
