Overview

The Mersen B301071 Protistor® Size 32 aR fuse-link is a square body, ultra-fast acting fuse designed for semiconductor protection in power conversion equipment. This fuse-link protects diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices with a high interrupting rating of 1100A at 600VAC (IEC) and 650VAC (UL). The B301071 features die-cut fuse elements embedded in solidified sand to control arcing, resulting in a lower I²t value for improved performance. All contact surfaces are silver-plated, and hardware is non-magnetic for reliable operation. The slotted blades allow for secure mounting, and the fuse can be fitted with a low-voltage trip-indicator to operate a field-mountable microswitch. This fuse-link is manufactured in the US and meets IEC 650VAC and UL 1100A standards, providing maximum flexibility in equipment design for modern power electronics applications.
