Overview

The Mersen ATMR6 Amp-Trap® fuse, SKU ATMR6, is a Class CC, fast-acting fuse engineered for robust branch circuit protection. This fuse is rated for 600VAC and 600VDC, featuring a 6A current rating. It delivers a high interrupting rating of 200kA AC and 100kA DC, which is crucial for circuits where available short circuit currents can exceed 10,000 amperes. The ATMR6 stands out due to its compact dimensions, making it the smallest 600V fuse available for branch circuit applications. A significant feature is its rejection-style design. When paired with recommended Mersen fuse blocks, this design effectively prevents the installation of fuses with lower ratings, thereby guaranteeing the intended level of circuit protection. This fuse offers very current-limiting protection, making it an excellent choice for general circuits, control circuits, and control circuit transformers. It holds a UL Listing to Standard 248-4, with File E2137, and is CSA Certified to Standard C22.2 No. 248.4. Additionally, it has a DC listing to UL Standard 248. The ATMR series, including the ATMR6, is recognized as a popular and economical solution for dependable circuit protection.
