Overview

The Mersen A100P1000-4TA Amp-Trap® Form 101 high-speed fuse delivers precise protection for critical industrial applications. Rated at 1000VAC / 750VDC and 1000A, this bolted blade fuse is engineered for UPS systems, AC/DC drives, and reduced voltage motor starters where minimal I²t and superior reliability are essential. Its low I²t design minimizes damage to protected components during short circuits, while controlled arc voltage reduces stress on circuit components during clearing. With a 100kA interrupting rating (IR) and 25ms let-through (LR), the A100P1000-4TA ensures fast, predictable response in high-fault scenarios. The optional trigger indicator (TI) provides visual confirmation of fuse operation, enabling rapid troubleshooting. Available in ampere ratings from 15A to 1000A, this fuse meets UL recognized component standards (File E60314) and is UL guide JFHR2 certified for AC applications (35-600A). Designed for North American style mounting (Figure 2), the A100P1000-4TA is manufactured in the US and distributed by Gross Automation.
