The CHI-16 series includes multiple versions: with one or two levers, with pegs, with pegs and aluminum/plastic covers, and with lever and aluminum cover.

The enclosures ensure IP66/IP69 degree of protection (or IP65 for hinged cover versions) when mated and locked with closing levers. The cover provides mechanical protection but may not ensure full IP protection.

The CHI-16 series can be combined with CHO/CAO 16 X, CHV/CAV 16 X, MHO/MAO 16 X, and MHV/MAV 16 X enclosures.

Compatible inserts include CD, CDD, CDS, CDSH, CNE, CSE, CSH, CSH S, CCE, CMSH, CMCE, CSS, CT, CTS, CQE, CQEE, CP, CX, and MIXO series with various pole configurations.
