The enclosure has multiple IP ratings depending on the cable gland configuration. With an insulating cable gland or fitting without gasket, it achieves IP65. With a cable gland with O-Ring gasket, it can reach IP66 and IP69.

The CAVW-06L21 model is available in two entry configurations: side entry (CAOW 06 L21) and top entry (CAVW 06 L21) high construction enclosures.
