Authorized Littelfuse Distributor
Littelfuse TSU2000 - The TMV and TSU Series are universal voltage delay-on-make timers. Two models cover all the popular voltages and time delays. Available with knob or external adjust time delay. Its simple two terminals can easily be connected in series with a relay coil, contactor coil, solenoid, lamps, small motor, etc., to delay their energization, prevent short cycling or to sequence on various loads. Operation (Delay-on-Make): Upon application of input voltage, the time delay begins. The output is de-energized before and during the time delay. At the end of the time delay, the output energizes and remains energized until input voltage is removed. Reset: Removing input voltage resets the time delay and output.

Overview

The Littelfuse TSU2000 is a versatile universal voltage delay-on-make timer designed for precise industrial control applications. This model features external adjustment for its time delay, offering flexibility in setting operational parameters. Operating across a wide input voltage range of 24 to 240VAC/DC, the TSU2000 ensures compatibility with diverse power systems. Its adjustable time delay spans from 5 to 480 seconds, configurable in four distinct ranges, allowing for fine-tuning of load energization sequences. The timer's delay-on-make operation ensures that the output remains de-energized during the set delay period upon application of input voltage, only energizing at the end of the delay. This functionality is crucial for preventing short cycling of equipment like pumps or motors, and for sequencing the activation of multiple loads. Resetting is automatic and immediate upon removal of input voltage, ensuring repeatable performance. The TSU2000 utilizes a simple two-terminal series connection with the load, facilitating quick and easy installation in both new and existing systems. Its totally solid-state and encapsulated design protects against shock, vibration, and humidity, eliminating moving parts that could arc or wear out over time. The solid-state output provides 1A steady current and 10A inrush, rated for 100 million operations under typical conditions. Optional accessories like the P1004-95 Versa-Pot and P0700-7 Versa-Knob are available for remote time delay adjustment. The TSU2000 is ideal for delaying the energization of relay coils, contactor coils, solenoids, lamps, and small motors, providing reliable control in automation and process industries.
