The IP66/IP67-rated housing ensures superior resistance to moisture, dust, and mechanical stress, making them ideal for critical applications such as street lighting, parking lot lighting, traffic signaling, sports lighting, marine environments (boats and marinas), and any industrial or commercial setting prone to humidity or corrosive elements. Key features include three internal O-rings per pole for a watertight seal (blue for single pole, red for dual pole) and captive securing nuts or screws for efficient installation. Optional breakaway configurations are available, which safely disconnect the load in case of pole knockdown, keeping fuses encapsulated on the load side for enhanced safety. Breakaway versions include cone-shaped insulator boots as standard, while non-breakaway versions offer optional boots for additional protection. The tulip fuse clip design promotes improved electrical contact and minimizes losses, while the high-heat, impact-resistant insulator material ensures long-term durability. Short-circuit current ratings (SCCR) are 200kA for Class CC fuses and 100kA for midget fuses.
