Authorized Littelfuse Distributor
Littelfuse KSDB134P - The KSDB is designed for general purpose commercial and industrial applications where a small, cost effective, reliable solid-state timer is required. The factory calibration for fixed time delays is within 5% of the target time delay. The repeat accuracy, under stable conditions, is 0.5% of the selected time delay. This series is designed for popular AC and DC voltages. Time delays of 0.1 seconds to 1000 minutes are available in 6 ranges. The output is rated 1A steady and 10A inrush. The modules are totally solid state and encapsulated to protect the electronic circuitry. Operation (Delay-on-Break): Input voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output energizes. The time delay begins when the initiate switch is opened. The output remains energized during timing. At the end of the time delay, the output de-energizes. The output energizes if the initiate switch is closed when input voltage is applied. Reset: Reclosing the initiate switch during timing resets the time delay. Loss of input voltage resets the time delay and output.

Overview

The Littelfuse KSDB134P is a cost-effective, reliable solid-state timer designed for general-purpose commercial and industrial applications. It offers precise timing control with factory calibration within ±5% of the target time delay and a repeat accuracy of ±0.5% under stable conditions. This series supports popular AC and DC voltages, providing flexibility for diverse control systems. Time delays are available in six ranges, from 0.1 seconds to 1000 minutes. The output is rated for 1A steady current and 10A inrush, ensuring reliable switching for relays, contactors, and other control devices. Its totally solid-state and encapsulated design protects the electronic circuitry from shock, vibration, and humidity, offering 100 million operations in typical conditions without moving parts to wear or arc. The KSDB134P features delay-on-break operation: input voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output energizes. The time delay begins when the initiate switch is opened, and the output remains energized during this period before de-energizing. Resetting the time delay is achieved by reclosing the initiate switch during timing, or by loss of input voltage. This compact timer is ideal for applications such as conveyor systems, motor control, lighting control, and process automation where accurate timing delays are critical. The wiring diagram supports standard configurations with initiate switch (S1), load (L), and optional untimed load (UTL) connections. For models with external adjustment, an RT terminal is provided.
