Overview

The Littelfuse 229007P 7A 2AG Slo-Blo® Glass Fuse is a high-performance, time-delay fuse engineered for superior protection of inductive loads such as motors, transformers, solenoids, and other heavy-duty electrical equipment. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial and commercial applications, this 229 series fuse delivers reliable performance while occupying significantly less space than traditional 3AG alternatives—just one-third the footprint—without compromising on protection or durability. Engineered with Littelfuse’s proprietary Slo-Blo® technology, the 229007P provides a time-delay response that allows brief overloads to pass without nuisance tripping, making it ideal for applications where transient surges are common. This characteristic is particularly valuable in environments with inductive loads, where startup currents can exceed normal operating levels by several times. The fuse’s glass body ensures visibility of the internal element, enabling quick visual inspection for continuity or failure. For applications requiring immediate fault identification, Littelfuse offers an indicating version of this fuse, which discolors upon opening to signal a blown condition, eliminating the need for time-consuming circuit testing and reducing downtime. The 2AG size of this fuse makes it a versatile choice for modern, space-constrained electrical panels and control systems. Its compact design allows engineers to optimize panel layouts without sacrificing protection quality. Available in both cartridge and axial lead configurations, the 229007P can be easily integrated into new designs or retrofitted into existing systems. The clear glass construction not only aids in visual inspection but also meets industry standards for transparency and traceability in critical applications. Littelfuse, a global leader in circuit protection solutions, has built a reputation for reliability and innovation in the electrical industry. With decades of experience, the company’s fuses are trusted in mission-critical applications across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors. The 229007P is no exception, offering the same high-quality performance as Littelfuse’s 3AG series but in a more compact form factor. Whether used in motor starters, power supplies, or control circuits, this fuse ensures consistent protection against overloads and short circuits, safeguarding equipment and preventing costly downtime. Professionals in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, and panel design rely on Littelfuse’s Slo-Blo® fuses for their proven ability to handle inrush currents while maintaining precise fault interruption. The 229007P is particularly well-suited for applications such as: - Motor control centers and variable frequency drives (VFDs) - Industrial machinery and automation systems - HVAC and refrigeration systems - Power distribution units and control panels - Renewable energy inverters and battery management systems When selecting a time-delay fuse for inductive loads, the Littelfuse 229007P 7A 2AG Slo-Blo® Glass Fuse stands out as a cost-effective, space-saving solution that delivers uncompromising protection. Its combination of compact size, reliable performance, and manufacturer-backed quality makes it a preferred choice for engineers and technicians who demand the best in circuit protection.
