Overview
The Kessler Ellis iR Series 4 Channel Temperature Input Module (SKU: iR-AI04-TR) delivers precise, isolated temperature measurements for industrial process control. This 4-channel module supports RTD sensors (Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100) in 2-, 3-, or 4-wire configurations, as well as thermocouples (Types B, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U) with internal or external cold junction compensation. Each channel is electrically isolated for channel-to-channel and input-to-bus isolation, ensuring signal integrity in noisy environments. The module operates on 20–33 VDC with a current consumption of 250 mA at 24 VDC and dissipates 6 W. It features configurable voltage ranges (-10 to +20 mV, -10 to +80 mV, -10 to +460 mV, 0 to +1.0 V, 0 to +6.0 V) and provides a constant 1.0 mA ±1.7% supply to transmitters/sensors. Line break detection is set at 7 kΩ ±10%, and the module operates reliably in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 50°C. Compact dimensions (40.64 mm width × 311.15 mm height × 160 mm depth) allow flexible installation in industrial racks. Ideal for process automation, HVAC systems, and energy management, the iR-AI04-TR ensures accurate, repeatable temperature monitoring with minimal maintenance.

The Intelligent Rack Security Handle 3-Temperature and Door Sensor connects through the Intelligent Rack Security Handle to the Panduit G5/G6 iPDU or UPS to offer top-, middle- and bottom-of-rack temperature and door status monitoring. The length of the cables from the interface plug to the temperature sensors are 1 at 2 feet (0.6 m), 2 at 6.5 feet (2.3 m) and 10 feet (3.0 m) to the door contact sensor. The temperature sensor measuring range is from 50F - 149F (10C - 65C).
