Mounting screws, Fuse clips, Voltage links
- Mount the transformer
Secure the HPS Imperator® transformer to the designated mounting surface using appropriately sized mounting screws. Ensure the transformer is level and securely fastened.
- Install fuse clips
Remove the appropriate captive washer screws from the terminal block. Install the fuse clips and replace with new terminal screws, ensuring they are torqued between 12 to 14 inch-lbs.
- Connect voltage links
For units from 50VA to 100VA, install the voltage links between any two primary or secondary terminal bays. For larger units, refer to the PHWD1 or PHWD2 instruction sheet for specific installation locations.
- Verify connections
Use a multimeter to check all connections for continuity and proper voltage levels. Ensure that all wiring is secure and that there are no exposed wires.
- Calibrate the transformer
