Overview

The Hammond Power HPS Enclosed Control Transformer (SKU: C2E0050KHP) is a ready-to-install solution for light-duty industrial and commercial applications. This 50VA transformer operates with a primary voltage of 380/347V and a secondary voltage of 120x240V, supporting both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. Constructed with high-quality silicon steel laminations, it ensures optimal performance and reliability. The encapsulated coils, protected by a custom injection molded cover, shield against moisture, dirt, and airborne contaminants, extending coil and termination life. Heavy steel mounting feet are welded or bolted to the core for superior strength and a compact design. Terminations utilize combination slot/Phillips #6 screws with SEMS washers, suitable for 18 AWG to 14 AWG solid or 14 AWG stranded wire. All units come standard with SEMS washers and secondary fuse kits, utilizing 13/32” x 1 1/2” midget/type CC fuse clips. Optional primary fuse kits and finger-safe terminal covers are available. This transformer features a 55°C temperature rise and a 130°C insulation class, characteristic of its 50-150VA rating.
