The 1490 Series enclosures are designed to accept standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches, and pilot lights.

These enclosures comply with NEMA Type 12 and 13, and IEC 60529, IP54 standards.

The enclosures are constructed from formed 14 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams.

The cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided on the enclosure.

The construction provides either a 30° or 60° slope on the front cover, depending on the mounting position.

An oil resistant gasket and adhesive are included with the enclosures.

The 1490D2 enclosure has dimensions of 3.50 in height, 5.50 in width, and 4.88 in depth.
