The Hammond 1487EXSS wireway fitting is constructed from 14-gauge 304 stainless steel with 10-gauge flanges.

This wireway fitting meets NEMA Type 4X and IEC 60529 IP66 standards, providing protection against dust, water, and oil.

The butt hinged covers are secured with easily operated screw clamps.

Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured to the fitting. Solid oil resistant gaskets are also used between flanges when sections and fittings are bolted together.

The continuous flange around the wireway ends requires cables to be pulled through, ensuring secure installation.
