The 1437SS series offers Type 4, 4X stainless steel pushbutton enclosures.

These enclosures comply with UL 508A Type 4 and 4X, CSA Enclosure 4 and 4X, NEMA Type 4 and 4X, and IEC 60529, IP66.

The enclosures are formed from 16 gauge steel and have a natural stainless steel brushed finish.

A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided on the enclosure for electrical connections.

Larger enclosures provide internally hinged removable covers designed to hold the cover open during wiring. Smaller enclosures (Part No. ending in 'A') are not hinged.

An oil resistant gasket and adhesive are used to provide protection from dirt, dust, oil, and water.

These enclosures are designed to accept standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches, and pilot lights.

The 1437S16D enclosure has dimensions of 10.00 inches in height, 4.00 inches in width, and 4.75 inches in depth.

Captive cover screws fasten into threaded, sealed wells to secure the enclosure cover.
